NDFC(I) Represents India at Asia Fruit Logistica 2025, Hong Kong
Event Date: 02nd - 04th September, 2025
Nuts and Dry Fruits Council (India) had the privilege of representing the category at the first-ever Dry Fruits and Nuts Forum at Asia Fruit Logistica 2025 (Asia’s leading marketplace for fresh-produce trade), held at Hong Kong from 02nd Sep to 04th Sep.
The Forum session opened with Tom Joyce of Fruitnet (UK) sharing insights on global consumption and retail trends in dry fruits and nuts, setting the context for the industry’s evolution. This was followed by a Suppliers Panel featuring Ms. Pamela Graviet from the California Walnut Commission & Board (US) and Mr. José Tomás Contador from Chile Almonds (Chile), who spoke about adapting to changing consumer preferences, sustainability practices, and trade efficiencies.
The discussion then turned to India, where Col. Nitin Sehgal, VSM (Veteran) – CEO, NDFC(I) & Mr. Sumit Saran of SS Associates highlighted India’s market trends, dynamic retail growth, expanding consumer base, and the sector’s potential to become a key contributor to global nutrition markets.
Across three days of interactions and B2B meetings, NDFC(I) strengthened India’s voice on the international stage, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and growth opportunities for the country’s DFN sector.
Such collaborations enable NDFC(I), its members, and the Indian DFN Industry to gain deeper market insights, build stronger global partnerships, and drive innovation that benefits the entire value chain.
