PRODUCT SEGMENTS
Almonds
Cashews
Figs
Approximately 72,000 MT in production.
Dates
Around 286,000 MT in production, with a growth expectation in the coming years.
Cranberries
Exotic Nuts
Recorded 358 MT in 2021-22, with significant potential for further growth.
Raisins
Current production stands at 175,000 MT, expected to reach 300,000 MT in the next 5 years.
Walnuts
Pistachios
35,000 MT in 2022-23, anticipating growth to 70,000 MT in the next 5 years.
Blueberry
The global blueberry market is expected to grow to approximately 2.7 million metric tons by 2027, driven by increasing demand for healthy and superfood options.
Prunes
The global production of prunes is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 2-3% over the next few years, with estimated production reaching approximately 290,000-300,000 metric tons by 2025.
Hazelnuts
Global hazelnut production is expected to grow to around 1.4 million metric tons by 2027, driven by increasing demand in the food industry and expanding cultivation areas.
Macadamia
The global macadamia market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 6-8%, reaching over 300,000 metric tons by 2030.
Makhanas (Fox Nuts)
The global demand for makhanas (fox nuts) is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 7.5% from 2021 to 2026, with production anticipated to increase significantly in metric tons due to rising health awareness and consumption trends.
