On 25th June, 2025, the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council of India (NDFC[I]) co-hosted a high-level Almonds Trade Seminar in New Delhi, in collaboration with the Government of South Australia, Austrade, and the Australian High Commission.
The seminar was graced by Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and brought together key stakeholders from both nations to explore avenues for deeper cooperation in the almonds and dry fruits sector.
Opening remarks and presentations were delivered by senior representatives including Col. Nitin Sehgal, VSM (Retd), CEO, NDFC(I), Mr. Tim White, Executive Director, Trade and International, South Australia Department of State Development and Mr. Sumit Saran, Director, Strat Sure Associates, facilitating a meaningful dialogue around trade opportunities, regulatory alignment, and strategies to build future-ready, mutually beneficial partnerships.
The session also included open discussions with leading Indian importers such as Rajeev Pabreja, Vishakha Jain, Divyansh Sethi, Vishal Chhabria, Ashok Kathpalia, Harddik S Phophlia, Sameer Wadhwa, Gautam Dave, Naresh Soni, Puneet Gupta, Kanwar Bir Singh, Naman Gupta, Achin Aggarwal, Anmol Goel, and Sunil Khitha, making it a collaborative platform for exchanging practical insights and identifying growth-oriented solutions.
NDFC(I) remains committed to fostering international trade relationships and facilitating knowledge-based engagements that advance India’s position in the global nuts and dry fruits industry.
