Mr. Jagjit Singh Kochar, Managing Director of Al Mehtab Trading LLC, has been conferred the title of Patron of the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council (India) in recognition of his distinguished leadership and longstanding contribution to the industry. A widely respected figure in the global nuts and dry fruits trade, Mr. Kochar brings with him deep experience, strategic vision and an unwavering commitment to strengthening industry institutions. His guidance and support continue to play an important role in advancing the Council’s mission of building a structured and globally respected platform that represents and elevates India’s nuts and dry fruits ecosystem.

Mr Gunjan Vijay Jain is the Founding President of NDFC(I), one of the brain-child members and an active enthusiast for its furtherance and growth. He has led from the front in setting up of the Council and relentlessly pursued the same with enthusiasm and positive ‘out of box’ approach. He is one of the front-runners of the Indian Nuts & Dry Fruit Industry and has all the expertise and elan to steer the Council to greater heights.

Mr Rahul Kamath is the Founding Vice President of NDFC(I). He comes with over six decades of family legacy in cashew processing and exports, has spearheaded the company’s growth as one of the leading importers, processors, and exporters of nuts and dry fruits in South India. He is deeply passionate about NDFC(I) and has contributed significantly towards the setting up and putting in place the processes for long-term good of the Council. His commitment to the cause is unequivocal and remarkable.

Mr Deepak Agrawal is the Founding Secretary of NDFC(I), a seasoned Management Graduate, boasts over two decades of expertise in the industry. He brings this rich experience and guidance to the Council and provides it the required impetus for its stabilization and all-round growth. His strategic focus on the Council has led to its initial growth and brand recognition in a remarkably short span. His pivotal role in nurturing the Council with passion is remarkable and praiseworthy.

Mr Yash Gawdi is the Founding Treasurer of NDFC(I), a graduate in Electrical Engineering from NC State, his passion for quality and innovation in the industry is unparalleled. Through his vision and experience, he has envisioned and laid down a robust foundation for the Indian nuts and dry fruits industry, in the form of NDFC(I), anticipating significant growth in the coming decade. His dedication and passion constantly guide the mission, goals and objectives of NDFC(I).

Mr. Raju Bhatia is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry leader in the global nut and dry fruit sector. He is the Honorary President of NDFC (I) and the Founder & Managing Partner of California Agri Nuts Corporation, a key player in the international agri-trade market. With deep expertise in the dry fruit industry, he also serves as Ambassador, India at the INC – International Nut and Dried Fruit Council, where he plays a crucial role in strengthening India’s position in the global market. His leadership and vision continue to drive innovation and growth in the industry.

Col Nitin Sehgal, VSM (Retd) is an ex-army officer, with 26 years of illustrious service to the nation. He was awarded the prestigious Presidential Award ‘Vishisht Seva Medal’ on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. Post his army career, he has worked with Reliance Retail for 02 years and thereafter, joined us as the CEO wef 04 Mar’ 24. He brings along rich and diverse experience.
